Mở bài và Chuyển ý (Intro & Transitions)
Bắt đầu bài nói bằng một câu giới thiệu trực tiếp, ví dụ: 'I'd like to talk about...' hoặc 'The [topic] I want to describe is...'.
Sử dụng từ nối (transitions) để chuyển giữa các gạch đầu dòng, giúp bài nói mạch lạc. Ví dụ: 'Moving on to who wrote it...', 'As for what it's about...'.
Kể chuyện (Narrative technique)
Cách tốt nhất để kéo dài bài nói là kể một câu chuyện ngắn liên quan đến chủ đề. Thay vì chỉ liệt kê thông tin, hãy đưa bối cảnh cá nhân vào.
Ví dụ: Thay vì nói 'I read this book last year', hãy nói 'I stumbled upon this book last year when I was struggling with my studies, and a friend recommended it to me.'
